I just made my first effort, 2 batards. I had some irregular holes not very large ones. I was just wondering, how long did you cook your batards for?
Brackettlicious answered:
I think about 45 minutes - my oven doesn't get quite hot enough I think though. I did an extra stretch and fold as well and made sure the dough was almost runny - seemed to do the trick!
