Sewing: Twirl Skirt & Bloomers

Twirl Skirt & Bloomers

Twirly and Girly and Still Covered Up

The perfect skirt pattern for your twirlers, jumpers, and monkey-bar hangers! I'll teach you to sew this super twirly skirt with bloomer bottoms built right in to keep her covered (and compliant with schools whose rules require shorts beneath a skirt!) This pattern is even better than a skort or scooter because the gathered bloomer-style legs prevent leg-hole peeks too. Leave out the bloomers (I'll show you how) and you have a lovely twirl skirt that sews up quickly.

Sewing for your loved ones is so satisfying! You get to choose your own fabrics and are not at the mercy of clothing manufacturers for style and print. Sew up a skirt for every holiday, and for matching siblings, relatives and friends! Twirl skirt make very popular gifts among little girls too.

Despite the professional look, this is an EASY level pattern you'll be sewing for all the little girls you know for all occasions. We take it step-by-step and you never have to guess where to sew because every stitching line is clearly marked on the photos. I'm also available for help along the way if you need it. They want to twirl, so let's get sewing!

I'm Jen Hagedorn, the designer behind Tie Dye Diva Patterns. I began my online craft endeavors selling hand-dyed clothing and playsilks in 2005, and launched my first PDF sewing pattern in 2007. I discovered how much I love teaching people to sew, and I no longer dye but the Tie Dye Diva name has stuck! I'm a work-from-home mom of 3 who are great fit models and enthusiastic critics. You can find many of my patterns and free tutorials here on Craftsy, and my full line of more than 50 PDF sewing patterns for baby, children, home and more on my instant-download site, www.tiedyedivapatterns.com.
