Sew a lovely gift and try out a fun trend! It seems like everyone is English paper piecing these days. And, I can see why. It's fun, portable, and it instantly makes anything you attach it to especially cute! Paper piecing with hexagons is also a great way to use up those leftover scraps of fabric you love.
In this Workshop, we're going to learn how to use English paper piecing to sew hexagons together and then use them to embellish an adorable lined coin purse.
If you need help anytime, just ASK ME! You can post a question to the Workshop discussion, and I will be happy to help. If you have any great tips as we go, please share them with the other Workshop students, too. We're all in this together!
So gather up your sweet little scraps or charm squares in your stash and let's start hexing...

Quilting, Sewing
Beginner
Hi! My name is Yahaira Ferreira. I learned to knit and sew while in graduate school and haven't stopped since! As the author of two knitting books, Sensual Knits and Pure Knits, I've been part of the crafting world for many years. Due to a bout with carpel tunnel, I've turned my focus from knitting to sewing, and recently designed my own line of handbags, clutches, and coin purses.
Ever get stuck on a pattern because it's wrong or confusing? What if you could ask an expert for help?
