Ever since I was a child I always enjoyed watching craft shows. I've dabbled in some. When I was 5 or so, mom used to knit/crochet quite a bit. I asked her to teach me. At the time she taught me to crochet. I made a blue scarf. I remember my tension was all over the place and so was my scarf, LOL. I stopped for about 43 yrs.

At the time she taught me to crochet. I made a blue scarf. I remember my tension was all over the place and so was my scarf, LOL. I stopped for about 43 yrs.
I wanted to get my elderly mom to use her brain more so I decided that I would try to knit and see if she would become interested again. I turns out that it was her sight and arthritis that kept her from knitting.
I find that I like knitting/crocheting every once in a while. I'm not obsessed with it. Having said that, I appears I will be the advisor to a knitting club at my school.
