When I was little, I watched my mom sew and make things. She and my grandmother always seemed to be knitting or sewing beautiful things, from afghans to sweaters and curtains and pillows. I'm curious about all sorts of crafts and I've done a lot of them over the years. I started knitting about 10 years ago and still find there's so much to learn. Toys are fun because you don't have to worry about fit!
