A novice in handcrafted jewelry. I am still learning a lot of techniques, ideas, creations, and tricks...:-) I retired (early retirement) 2 years ago, I was looking for a hobby, I started making handcrafted jewelry this year (July 2012) since then I am loving it! .....I love and enjoy jewelry making, sewing, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, gardening, as well as cooking and baking.
I learned sewing and crocheting from my late mother who used to sew herself and her 9 girls camisoles, dresses, pillow cases, curtains, aprons, and many more....all my sisters knew how to sew, knit, and crochet...we all learned this from my mother......I used to make my daughter little dresses when she was a year old until she was 10 years old, I made her an environmentally friendly diapers instead of buying expensive diapers. I made my friends' set of crib quilted pillows, quilted mattress cover, and quilted crib sides years ago.... Now I am retired I have all the time to sew, crochet, make jewelries, and quilt.....I am loving it!
