Sometimes I just take things from them and repair them.

About 10 years ago I decided that I wanted to learn to paint, so I took a wonderful class from Rita Cooper. She really taught me the basics of painting, on canvas. Now everything is a canvas I paint, sew, embroider, and dye/stain everything. I love crocheted doily's and have been collecting them for years. I incorporate them in many of the items I make. I am currently a member of Rocky Mountain Contemporary Quilters and love being around the very creative people who make up that group. Art has always been part of my life. There are some very talented people in my family and art comes naturally.
