I love to knit. I can't sit and watch tv, I must be knitting while I'm sitting. I began knitting when I was 8 years old. I normally have 4 or 5 projects going at once- (my attention span is challenged). I also know how to crochet, but prefer knitting's results. I knit a lot of socks and love doing cables. I have made a few fisherman type sweaters, some afghans, numerous pairs of mittens and hats, dishcloths, toys.

I have 5 children. My husband is an avid supporter of my knitting addiction. (He just stacks my stash boxes higher and higher for me). I am an RN, and soon to be Nurse Practitioner..... I just finished graduate school at age 54.
