I am a mother, a grandmother, a wife, and a full time student studying psychology. I love to knit, crochet, read, and am always looking to try a new craft. My mother first taught me to crochet when I was 7. She never learned how to read a pattern, and she is a lefty (while I am not), so I ended up having to learn a lot of things through trial and error or through books. II first picked up knitting needles about 8 years ago, and fell in love. Although I do not crochet as much as I once did, I still love it too. My new passion is surfing Pinterest for new and exciting ideas. Crafting helps me to keep my inner self in balance :) Wearing as many 'hats' as I do can sometimes be a bit stressful. I find that when I take the time even for a small project, it restores me in some way.
