A Sunday school teacher taught our class some basics of crochet about 30 yrs ago. All I've ever remembered was the slip st. Then in 2008 when I was teaching myself to knit via books at Borders, my dd wanted help learning how to chain in crochet. It just came back to me. Then in 2008 when I was teaching myself to knit via books at Borders, my dd wanted help learning how to chain in crochet. It just came back to me. I love knitting but crochet better suits my spazzy mood. lol I tend to be a bit hyper and it's fun to go so fast with crochet. More movement. I'm not very good at it yet, but am learning. I love crocheting in the round, hats and flowers, etc. When I've done afghans the gauge is so off it's ridiculous. My cats like the blankets though. ha ha I also scrapbook, have done some beading and mosaic tiling. I like to write...not creatively, just physically write and doodle. Sketching would be fun (and I've done a little) and I love to watch ppl paint, though have no desire to do it myself.
