I crochet more than anything else. I learned in 2003. I always knew that I wanted to crochet, but the women in my family that could teach me wouldn't .Mostly because I'm left handed, probably a little because I have ADD. But I met a wonderful and determined woman and she sat down worked with me. I haven't been without a hook and yarn since. I did learn to knit as a child, but I never enjoyed it. Until recently, another determined and wonderful woman taught me the Portuguese method. Now, I don't want to stick the needles in my eyeballs, and I actually somewhat enjoy the process. The only problem is, my friend is moving, and I spent the entire summer working on crochet back packs for my girls (They were made out of nylon, which is crazy to crochet with). So, I haven't actually worked with the needles in a while, but I do plan on picking them back up.
