I'm a quilting addict. I have been a stay at home mom to two crazy all boy boys for the last 8 years. I just started working from home and love creating gifts for my family and friends. I love to crochet as well. My machine is very basic but I have learned a lot from blogs and books checked out from the library. My grandma is an old school quilter and while I appreciate that very much (it takes forever!) I am so thankful to have found modern quilting. I am a member of the Tulsa Modern Quilt Guild. We are very small and unorganized but it's so nice to share this preoccupation with my friends. I get called a grandma most of the time until someone sees my quilts then they have to wonder a little. I hope the modern quilt movement keeps going. I want to one day teach my cousins and younger girls to quilt since this is a dying art but it's so much fun.
