I learned to knit when I was eight, but as I didn't have much access to materials, I wasn't really able to pick up "really" knitting until I was about eighteen or nineteen (In other words, I had two balls of yarn and some pencils for ten years-- at least I had plenty of time to get technique down! :P)

Over the last few years, I've been completely sucked into knitting. I've tried crochet, and while I enjoy it sometimes, I have a hard time with it (ie. it makes my hands hurt! Probably because I'm a leftie and I'm doing something wrong... or I hold the hook too tight.)
I started spinning yarn in July of 2012, and have surprised myself with how quickly I've picked that up! Already spun up well over a pound of nice yarn! :)
Anyway, that's where I am now, and I'm always open to picking up new crafts! :)
