I enjoy sewing and quilting. When I was 18 years old I hand sewed a hexagon queen size quilt, (took me 3 years) all templates were handcut from cereal boxes, hand cut the material from my Mums and Grandmothers clothes. I still have this quilt. Its now an heirloom as its over 30 years old and mostly all the fabrics were from clothes that were cut up. My mum grandmother and whole family were involved in the project.
