I supported myself as a single mother with sewing and clothing design. Then as my children grew I needed a more portable craft. I picked up knitting 15 years ago and haven't put it down since. I started spinning 3 years ago and have totally fallen in love with using handspun yarn in my projects. I am slowly whittling away at my store bought stash and building up my handspun stash. The designing knitwear bug has bit me this year and I hope to use what I know from sewing to help me design with yarn.
