I've been sewing and crocheting since I was 7 or 8. By the time I was 12 I was making my own clothes. Embroidery didn't catch on until I was 16. I supported myself as a single mother with sewing and clothing design. Then as my children grew I needed a more portable craft. I picked up knitting 15 years ago and haven't put it down since.
