I have always been keen on craft, being taught from an early age by my mother to knit,crochet and cook, as it was a neccessity to her, with our family being bought up with minimal funds, my mum never bought a pre-made pie or cake, also knitting or sewing our clothes. And my father always made things rather that bought them, an avid woodworker, something was always being made in our house! Sadly our life would never be the same again when in december 2011 my mother finally lost her battle with cancer and i have a huge void, which all hours i try and fill with craft, trying to pass all her talent onto my children! Although i am a fully qualified senior state registered hairdresser, my love of crafting has merged into my business. I am a demonstrator and on design teams for major craft companies, regularly seen on Create & Craft TV UK and my work for them is also shown in popular well known craft magazines. I trained in City & Guilds Sugarcraft when my eldest child,my son was first born, at evening school and find it refreshes my mojo , by starting form a ball of icing and turning it into something recognisable! I hope you enjoy what i make.
