I was always fascinated by the wonderful cakes my mother made us when I was little and wanted to learn. She quit making cakes like that when I reached around 10 years old and I dabbled a bit on my own as a teen. When my first child was born I decided that I needed to learn cake decorating before her first birthday so I would be able to make her a special cake. I now teach cake decorating at my local craft store and i love every minute of it. I am still to this day and always will be.... eager to learn everything I can get my hands on about sugar art! :)
