I started sewing when I was 12 years old. My mom helped me sew my first cotton dress on a treadle machine. My high school sewing teacher really inspired me to sew even more. I love sewing for my grandchildren, myself and my home and have sewn just about everything from my wedding dress to alterations on a funeral pall, of all things!
Sewing is my hobby along with reading, camping and walking for exercise.
