My Grandmothers, father and mother all did something different as I grew up! So naturally I have it in my genes! I love all kinds of crafts! I have done numerous crafts, sewing, quilting, tole painting, cut my own wood with a band saw my dad got for me! Knitting, but my favorite at the moment I love cake decorating! Somehow I use all the different skills from the different crafts I've done. Cake decorating has kept my attention for over 3 years now and am excited to find these online classes! I've always loved art! My 4th grade teacher saw something in my work and I stayed after school and practice what we learned in art that week. I always took art and sewing classes in Jr High and High School. Then when my children were very young I started Tole painting and sold my things at a local Christmas Tree farm craft show. I Then started watching the cake challenges on TV and saw the beautiful flowers made from gum paste and I wanted to make them!!! So now I can refine my flower making with the helpful tips from these classes.
