Love to knit have been knitting for 11 yrs and am able to design on my own now, thanks to Elizabeth Zimmernan and all her books,, I have sewn my entire life~ I recently decided I wanted to quilt and sewed a few squares and loved it! Love to knit have been knitting for 11 yrs and am able to design on my own now, thanks to Elizabeth Zimmernan and all her books,, I have sewn my entire life~ I recently decided I wanted to quilt and sewed a few squares and loved it! I purchased a new machine for quilting but I must learn how to use it properly with classes, I know my old Elna so well , its hard to let go and learn this all over again~ But,,,all the 7 dear grandchildren LOVE hand knits and now they are asking for me( Nana) to make some for them and how can one resist that?? I play classical violin and have played a bit of Celtic tunes but am mostly classical, We also love to garden and I am constantly designing new gardens to put in,,( and older ones to take out) In other words I am trying to simplify gardening here so I can still enjoy the garden but not be working in it all week long~ Mother to 3 grown sons ( married) and love to RV w/ Dh when we can get away from work, I also am training a therapy dog so my day gets pretty filled pretty fast~ but oh,,,such fun!
