I have been sewing since I was about thirteen years old when my Aunt Evie began teaching me how to sew. The first thing we made together was a cropped top boat necked blouse imprinted with poodle dogs and the Eiffel Tower and a pair of black Toreador pants with grommets on each side below the knee.
