I have a small hobby farm, currently located in Montana. We were transplanted here by unemployment and pray to return to Oregon or Washington. My flock has been primarily hair sheep over the last 10 years, but I have been growing my wool flock (hopefully not too big). I hope to be able to sell some of my fleeces and yarns eventually, but for now, I am embracing crafts I grew up with: Crochet and Knitting. I adore afghans, wool hats and wool socks. So I hope to learn lots here about preparing my fleeces and yarns. I've done some dying with Kool-Aid, and I"m absolutely in heaven working with my fibers. I have also two guard llamas, whose fleeces I hope to try making some rugs with.
When I'm not working around the farm, training dogs, or spinning, I am working. I am a writer (marketing, technical writing, blogging and soon a book), and a graphic designer. I even sing a little, and I am a photographer.
Have a blessed day.
