I have always been a craftsy person, even when I was small. I started out teaching quilting, then progressed to ceramics, porcelain dolls, wirewrapping, painting & then teaching painting of art ooak baby-dolls, sculpting in polymer clay, then went to college to become a jeweler & gemologist. Most everything interests me so I at least give it a try. Life is way too short to let anything you want to do get away from you!

I was diagnosed in Jan 2012 with breast cancer, had a double mastectomy in Feb, started chemotherapy in March. My cancer is now in remission! So... back to doing the things I want to do/learn.
