My artwork ranges from fantasy to portraits. For the past 20 years I have tutored university, TAFE and secondary students in academia, academic writing, research, essay, report & creative writing, Aboriginal studies and many other subjects. Also a Councillor for children from dysfunctional homes, abuse situations and suicide. Previous Director and creator of the Gunyjuu Illicit Drug Program for the National Illicit Drug Foundation. I am an amateur cake designer. I create cakes for all occasions including Aboriginal dot iced cakes. I am a muralist, specializing in children's rooms. Largest piece I have created is a school wall, painting was 60' by 10'. I write poetry, short stories and papers on kinesethetic tactile learning perspectives, philosophy and Aboriginal history and sociology. I teach workshops in art, Aboriginal art, art contracts, marketing and promotion, web design, and graphic design, just to name a few. Hubby is Mundara Koorang, Elder of the Eora people and renowned international artist. I am mother to Nganuwaay Koolyn (April) also a renowned international Aboriginal artist and two boys who have excelled in their chosen fields. Also mother to a number of foster boys and it would seem the local youth. I am a spiritual being, I am psychic, read Tarot, past lives and teach Aura healing and meditation. I am also Wicca and work with crystals, candles and incense. Hubby and I operated the largest Indigenous owned Aboriginal hand painted wholesale company for many years the House of Koorang Pty Ltd. We developed the first Aboriginal clothing line in Australia under the trade name 'Deadly Australia'. We were the first to produce 'Message Stones' and glass paintings and the first Indigenous company to produce contracts for working artists. And I am now carer for my hubby Mundara who has mixed dementia and progressive cerebral atrophy. So life is now one day at a time.
