I like to sew, knit, crochet, and make jewelry. Lately my passion has been sewing....and quilting with Jenny Doan! I love her classes and her tutorials! As the cooler weather comes around I like to take up knitting and crochet for the scarves and hats, afgans, etc. I've been sewing for 30+ years, got my first sewing machine when I was 10. I learned to knit and crochet from my grandmother in my teens, so I've had those skills for 30+ years as well. I just can't sit still and not have some sort of craft in my lap or a crafting activity to work on. I just recently learned how to make jewelry about 4 years ago and have enjoyed that as well. My 6 year old daughter has become very excited to learn how to quilt, so I got her a sewing machine this past Christmas and am slowly teaching her the basics of the machine and sewing so she can join me on my trips to the fabric store now!
