I was 7 years old when I realized I wanted to learn to crochet but nobody took my interest seriously. One day, I decided to just go ahead and "teach" myself. I took one of my grandma's crochet hooks and a ball of her thread and started doing the chain stitch (that is the easiest to do) and made the longest chain anyone could ever make. It was when my grandma found me crocheting under the table that she knew that I wanted to learn for sure. Since then, crocheting has become a part of my day, of my life, even! Can't live a day without it! Most of the things I do are inspired from designs I see but I modify most of them. I love to make things for friends as gifts and give away. Sometimes, I"m asked to make something special that's when I charge for the cost of thread/yarn and a some for labor.
