I discovered quilting around Christmas of 2010 but have been sewing since I was 8 - when I received my Pfaff 1222E sewing maching (which I still use now). I have studied Fashion: Production and Design, but just don't design/make clothing anymore... As I work full-time my quilting hours are limited but I make the most of every opportunity I can find to plan, cut, sew quilts or watch craftsy classes.
