Quilting has been a true gift from God for me. My husband pasted away March 11, 2010, and the fellowship with other quilters has been my life line. We were happily married, still held hands and were joined at the hip for 33 years. I have a hard time being me without him.
He enjoyed my quilting adventures as much as I did. It is different without him but I promised him I would keep quilting and when I do a project I can feel is approval and we talk to one another as I sew. It may seem strange but I truly feel him right beside me encouraging me not to give up. Giving up is something I will never do, because I know all quilters are passionate, caring and good listeners!
