Married with three grown children and five grandchildren. I retired for a second time two years ago. My mother started me sewing by hand when I was five, so I have been sewing since the stone age. My quilting started when I got married. Everyone in the rural area that I married into was involved with quilting for church bazaars. Once I started, I was completely addicted. I started teaching quilting classes in the early 1980's for several years. When I retired from my office job in 2001, I started teaching quilting classes again until two years ago.
