As an adult I started a cottage industry in my basement with a friend and made children's clothing with appliqués, ladies tennis skirts and other ladies garments. The business stopped after four years when my friend and business partner move away.
Last year I bought a new Bernina embroidery machine and have a new passion. I now concentrate on embroidery and some patchwork items. I guess you could say I'm addicted to sewing!,
