My mom started me with knitting and crocheting at the age of 5. As my knowledge of it outgrew my moms, I turned to my sister for help when I didn't understand something. I home schooled through 10th grade and graduated in 2009 with a public school. I can't live without Irish dancing and am currently studying to take the 4 day exam to be a certified teacher in 2014. When I'm not teaching dance or martial arts to young kids, my hands are always busy making something.
Besides knitting and crocheting, I have done many other crafty things as well, such as counted cross stitch, embroidery, bobbin lace making, latch hook, sewing, and bead work. Of everything I have tried, crocheting is my favorite. I love detailed work and have been told that I make things too perfect - as if that were possible.
In this new year of 2012 I am wanting to try creating patterns to sell. People always love my work and often ask for the pattern that I used, and I hate when I have to turn them down saying I created it myself or tweaked and combined other patterns to make it.
