My Mom is an amazing cook, gardner and a wonderful seamstress who made our clothes, our dolls clothes and all of our dance recital costumes. Her mother ran a boarding house and crocheted everything you could imagine and my other grandmother was an event planner and doll maker. My great-grandmother was a seamstress, quilter and my great grandfather was a milner. I learned something from all of them... I guess it is no wonder why I have been facinated with making things all my life. I started at about 6 yrs old making all my doll clothes then eventually started making myself clothes around 12, then moved on to making clothes for my friends and crocheting panchos and other things. I started drawing and painting, making jewelry and working with stained glass. I worked for a silversmith in high school and was facinated with his work. I have taken classes here and there but am mostly self taught. I love to learn new things and am always adding something new to my collection of skills. I LOVE making things!
