I have always been an artist, even when I didn?¢??t believe I was. I have lived & breathed art my whole life. Born and raised in Arizona I had the beauty of the AZ White Mountains/ Mogollon Rim as a playground and only a few miles away the vastness and beauty of the desert. I also came from a long line of artists. My great-great grandmother came from Norway and painted her memories of her homeland, My mother could create beauty with fabrics and paints and I inherited her collection of buttons and beads, Mom youngest brother was a well-known artist, Ray C. Davis, in the southwest, paintings, beadwork & mosaic works.
I find a way to make art/create out of anything I have on hand. I paint in oils http://lomarothmundart.blogspot.com/ I paint with fabrics, and beads as well as pixel paint on the computer. After my mother?¢??s death I used my inheritance (money) to take 10 weeks and go to San Francisco to the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts to become a silver-smith and jeweler.
