From very young age I watched my mom putting pieces of fabric together and from there we will have very cute and unique outfits. And I fell inlove with that so one day I had to go to the wedding and she did not want to buy me the outfit that I wanted. I said to her please give me R10 I will buy fabric and make my own outfit. She thought I was crazy because I was about 13 years old and when I was done I had a skirt that was good enough to be worn to a wedding and many other events after that. But I was not doing enough after that I will come up with something out of frustration but always had issues with buying expensive clothes because I always thought I can do better. Recently after being a mom and realised how excited my kids become when they see something I have made decided to do this more often and I must say it is addictive. Looking forward to being part of this community, its something I should have done years ago...
