I have been knitting since I was 8 years old. That was a really long time ago. I took a 22 year break after finishing a very elaborate Erin inspired knit afghan, which was then felted by my cleaning lady. I began knitting again 6 years ago in anticipation of my first grand child. Since then I have knit numerous projects for my granddaughter, as well as socks as presents. I find it challenging to knit for myself - I find that I am more likely to finish when I have committed a project to someone else. I have also learned to finish my project prior to starting another. I also crocht a little bit, but am getting better - crocheting snowflakes as package topper for this year. I make my own greeting cards and make beaded and wire wrap jewlery. I have an interest in pursuing jewlery making with PMC, but not until I have more time available.
