I have to say it was all the crafts I did in grade school that got me started wanting to craft. I have been officially sewing since my freshman year in high school.

I have been making clothes and now I have a strong desire to learn to quilt. But I also crochet afghans and I am now teaching myself how to do elegant embroidery. I also dabble with scrapbooking and card making. I have been known to also make seed bead earrings that dangle.
Above all I truly enjoy sewing, there is just something about the steady hum of the sewing machine that relaxes me and I love to create.
I also suffer from Fibromyalgia and a plethora of other illnesses so for me crafting is sometimes very slow in the fruition, but I take my time and rest when I need to.
