I originally found a cushion photo in a magazine and decided that i could make that. I originally found a cushion photo in a magazine and decided that i could make that. After a few failed attempts at the applique i decided to take some classes and from there my passion grew like topsy.. That was 12 years ago. Since then i have made a few large quilts for family and friends but mainly smaller ones to fill the house. I have dabbled with dolls and a couple of teddies a little bit of painting but mainly applique with embroidery which is my favourite. With not much wall space left it is time to try something else-- pictorial quilts and now i can start all over again and remake all my wall quilts. I am just starting on mosaics as well. I live in Te Awamutu which is in the Waikato in NZ and i live with my husband of 27 years have 4 grown children 2 of whom live in Australia and we have 3 dogs 4 cats and around 100 + birds that we breed as well. So i can honestly say that i have a full and very happy life.
