My craft history is a lengthy one! To keep things brief I'll just say how I got into knitting and crochet--two of my favorites. When I was fifteen, I came across a pair of needles and a how-to-knit booklet in my mother's sewing room, and then and there I wanted to learn the craft. I didn't get very far with knitting at first, but I picked up crochet quickly. I think it happened that way because of the motivation I received from a crochet group I joined early on. My knitting love came a few years later when I started knitting a sweater for myself. It was a real eye opening experience for me and now I love both these type of needlecrafts!
