I grew up surrounded by women that were as crafty as they come. My mother, my grandmothers, my aunts... they all had their hands busy with something ~ quilting, embroidery, designing clothing or crafting bears, painting, upcycling (even though no one ever called it that) furniture, cooking, gardening,... and those are just to name a few. Naturally I learned that I could craft most anything I could think of. Over time I learned (like most of us crafters) how to design, plan, and execute my ideas with more efficiency. Today, between the busy schedules of our three children, our dog Bob, and our 7 chickens, my husband and I happily run a small business crafting hand blown glass, sewing various projects - including everything from bridal alterations to children's play wear, and lastly, handmade/wheel thrown pottery. We design our products with function, health, and style in mind for the modern home and garden. Items that are durable enough to become heirlooms; pieces that will be cherished, and hopefully pass on the inspiration of sustainability for generations. That's me in a nutshell!
