I started crafting as a young child with my mother and siblings. The first project I remember doing was a Christmas ornament made from an empty can of tuna fish. Let's just say that I was hooked!
Since then I've knitted scarves, crocheted a tablecloth, and sewn curtains and bedding, all of my kids' cloths and most of mine. I've also done rug hooking, embroidery, cross-stitching, and wood-burning. Did some watercolor, pastel, and oil painting. I've continued to make intricate beaded jewelry, doing both traditional and digital scrapbooking, soap-making, candles and more.
Today, I earn a very modest living through the creation of my hand painted ceramics. My best-sellers are butter dishes, spoon rests and pet food bowls. If you'd like to browse my shop, please visit: www.etsy.com/shop/beautifullypractical.
