Mum had the talent when I was a child to walk into a stor & I'd see an outfit that I liked, but it was always not in the budget. So she examined he article, went home with fabric designed it & made it. Perfect. Embroidery. Was always in mums & grandmas house & I picked that up. Did that for many years, over time I learnt to knit & have kept that up. I drive my hubby nuts because to him I always have knitting with me. When we go out in the car if I'm not driving I'm knitting, even just to shops. I attempted crochet but just could not master the idea.
