As a teenager I learn't dressmaking at school. I made all my own clothes when I started work and then moved on to make toys and clothes for my daughters.
I became involved in designing and constructing costumes for the Canberra Youth Ballet Company for several years. After my daughters gave up ballet I decided to find another hobby so took my sisters advice and started quilting.

Hence I am totally absorbed with it and have recently purchased a Handiquilter Sweet 16 quilting machine. It is amazing and my quilting skills have improved immensley.
