I've always enjoyed other crafts such as flower arranging, making dinners for large groups of people, organizing parties, making sure the parties run smoothly, and making cakes. I took a class in cake decorating back in the early 90s and have enjoyed using those skills as well.
I'm a mom to 3, Oma to 12, and wife to the sweetest man on earth. We have 3 indoor adopted cats and currently 25 chickens; 6 of them are chicks and the rest are hens.
I'm disabled, so now I can spend a bit more time on sewing and other crafts. I have an Etsy store where I sell cloth mama pads, nursing pads, diapers, and other items. I really enjoy sewing and the immediate gratification that comes from putting together a few - or several - pieces of fabric and making something new. It's therapy for me.

My other hobbies are singing - I've been singing in church and other events since I was a child; baking; cooking; gardening; traveling; and writing. I've had a few articles published and am working on a book right now. I try to live my life in a way that will honor God and bring others to know about his love.
