I started crafting a few years ago after a terrible car accident (80 yr old woman ran traffic lights hitting me while I was setting at a red light and flipping my car) so after several back surgeries I can no longer work or do a lot of what I use to do. After setting in a recliner for a few years starring at 4 walls I had to find some thing to do with my time, I had always been more of the out doors type and very active. I first started crafting with beads and making jewelry, now I do just about every type of craft I come across. My latest is crochet and knitting, which I have self taught before I found the fabulous use of the Internet and you tube , my favorite is the crafting blogs. I love to see every one else's talents and of course it gives me a severe case of the "I wants" .. I also own a hundred acre farm with my husband and 3 children. The children are grown now. We also have an AKC Boxer rescue we started when the Irac War began. My days now are spent with my new 4 month old grandson who I have most of the time which doesn't leave me as much time for my crafting BUT I WOULDN'T HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY!! I LOVE this little guy with all my heart!! There will be plenty of time for crafting when he gets a little older and hey now I have a crafting buddy !!
