Well have been quilting for almost a year. Since then I have had long arm lessons. Completed three on the long arm. I have learned how to hand bind so I have a finnished quilt. Well have been quilting for almost a year. Since then I have had long arm lessons. Completed three on the long arm. I have learned how to hand bind so I have a finnished quilt. Have completed at least 15 quilts with some being donated to a local cause. So 2012 was a good year for learning technique and skills.
With 2013 I have ordered a long arm or mid arm I still don't know what to call it...Queen sized grace table and a stich regulator attached to a Juki TL 2010 Q with an arm leangth of 9". I got so addicted to the longarm process that this was all i could afford at the moment. Haven't received it yet. But have cleared out space for it when it arrives. I can make it work.
Since I hate cutting and perfect cuts make perfect quilts. I bought an Accuquilt bundle for 12" blocks. Haven't used it yet since I have developed this flu. I also have about 8 tops that need to be quilted already. As soon as I have some finished product I will post, and as you can see from my class subscription that my tastes are as varied as there are stars in the sky.
Since i was a knitter before a quilter i have been knitting up swatches of wool so I can make my own felt pieces for my quilting.
Next techniques are beading applique on quilts. And I want to pursue an original art quilt.
Maybe this Is for a blog...never done that before.
