I have been sewing since I was 6 or 7--on my mom's machine. Very rudimentary doll clothes I'm sure. Gradually learned more in Home Ec classes and trying new things. Have sewn for 40 years off and on with a few classes along the way. I just went fabric shopping in NYC for first time and bought beautiful silks.
