My love for knitting started about 7 years ago at the age of 17 when a friend from high school showed me what she learned in a knitting class she took with her mom....after knitting on and off from then until now its become a full-blown (controlled) obsession. Project after project honed my skill and speed, and now im apparently making long sweaters in about a week and a half haha. I love making gifts for my family and friends.... Anything from hats to gloves to sweaters and more. I feel that knitting will always be a form of therapy for me, as well as one of my many creative outlets (im also a hairstylist and i love my job/career choice!). Recently i've gotten into sewing as well ... Just as fun as knitting but i'm finding that its not quite as portable ( lugging a sewing machine around is not easy or logical haha). Crocheting has become a new love for me as well... I think its a better way to make those smaller pieces (no double-pointed needles to fumble with!). Im loving all the fun patterns on this site - hopefully i'll come up with a few of my own soon!
