I have been involved in fiber arts since 1978 when I worked in the popular Quilts & Other Comforts shop here in Colorado. My mom, Bonnie Leman, was the founding editor of Quilter's Newsletter Magazine. I learned from her that women entrepreneurs are a wonderful group of people and that making a home based business in the needle arts industry was definitely the way I wanted to earn a living!
