I've always loved Gothic/ Victorian fashion, and somehow slipped into doing that. I really got interested in the construction techniques of the time, and was lucky enough to be in touch with the collections conservator at the BC Museum. She was kind enough to pull relevant items from the collection for me to look at closely.
